Evanjelium jednoducho znamená “dobrá správa”. Takže evanjelium Ježiša Krista je dobrá správa o Ježišovi Kristovi!
Ježiš Kristus, Boží Syn, prišiel na zem, žil dokonalý život a zomrel na kríži, aby zaplatil za tvoj hriech, môj hriech a hriechy každého človeka, ktorý kedy žil.
Po svojej smrti Ježiš vstal z mŕtvych na tretí deň — dokázal tým, že je Boh a že má moc nad smrťou.
Vďaka Ježišovej obeti sa nemusíme báť, kam pôjdeme po smrti. Môžeme sa vyhnúť peklu a mať istotu, že pôjdeme do neba.

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came to earth, lived a perfect life, and died on the cross to pay for your sin, my sin, and the sin of everyone who has ever lived.
After Jesus died, He rose from the dead three days later—proving that He is God and that He has power over death.
Because of Jesus’ sacrifice, we do not have to worry about where we will go when we die. We can avoid Hell and be sure of going to Heaven.
Ako? Tým, že dôverujeme v Ježiša Krista a v Jeho obeť.
Musíme veriť, že potrebujeme Spasiteľa. Sami nie sme dosť dobrí na to, aby sme sa dostali do neba. Sme hriešni a bez Krista smerujeme do pekla.

Lebo všetci zhrešili a nemajú slávy Božej.
Ale vďaka Ježišovi Kristovi môžeme byť spasení a môžeme ísť do neba!

Lebo odplatou za hriech je smrť, ale dar Boží je večný život skrze Ježiša Krista, nášho Pána.
Musíme veriť, že Ježiš Kristus je skutočne tým, kým tvrdí, že je — Božím Synom. Musíme veriť, že zomrel na kríži, vstal z mŕtvych a dôverovať Mu, že nás zachráni tak, ako sľúbil.
Musíme dôverovať výhradne a úplne Ježišovi Kristovi. Nesmie to byť viera v skutky, náboženstvo, krst, cirkev, alebo niečo iné. Len Kristus.
Rimanom 10:9-13
Lebo ak vyznáš svojimi ústami Pána Ježiša a uveríš vo svojom srdci, že ho Boh vzkriesil z mŕtvych, budeš spasený.
Lebo srdcom veríme na spravodlivosť a ústami vyznávame na spasenie.
Lebo Písmo hovorí: Kto verí v neho, nebude zahanbený.
Lebo nieto rozdielu medzi Židom a Grékom; lebo ten istý Pán je Pánom všetkých, bohatý pre všetkých, ktorí ho vzývajú.
Lebo každý, kto vzýva meno Pánovo, bude spasený.
Ján 14:6
Ježiš mu povedal: Ja som cesta, pravda a život. Nikto nepríde k Otcovi, len skrze mňa.
How? By trusting in Jesus Christ and the sacrifice He made.
We must believe that we need a Saviour. We cannot be good enough to get to Heaven on our own. We fall short and are bound for Hell.

However, because of Jesus Christ, we can be saved and go to Heaven!

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
We must believe that Jesus Christ is who He said He is — the Son of God. We must believe that He died on the cross, rose from the dead, and trust Him to save us like He promised.
We must trust Jesus Christ fully and completely. Not in our good works, baptism, church membership, or religion — in Christ alone.
